Some areas of your face may feel dry while others look oily or feel congested. Multi-masking lets you use different masks on different areas, choosing a formula for what each zone needs.
The key is knowing which mask to reach for and when it’s better to use a single formula on its own.
What is multi-masking?
“Multi-masking means applying two or more masks to separate areas of your face during the same session,” Beth Bialko, Bioelements licensed esthetician, explains. “You might use one around your eyes and another on your cheeks, for example.”
Choose based on how your skin feels now, rather than following a fixed map of “oily” or “dry” zones. If your whole face has the same concern, one mask may be all you need.
Which Bioelements masks can you use together? Four combinations to try
Dehydrated cheeks and under-eye lines
Apply hydroplunge to cheeks or areas that feel tight and dehydrated, and radiance rescue around the under-eye area. Hydroplunge is made to boost hydration; radiance rescue helps reduce the look of lines and puffiness around the eyes.
Lined, dull areas and puffy under-eyes
Apply collagen rehab to areas that need a richer moisture boost, or use it on your lips. Add radiance rescue around the under-eyes to help reduce puffiness.
Oily or congested t-zone + dry cheeks
Use measured micrograins + as a mask on your nose and chin, where skin feels rough or congested. Apply hydroplunge to cheeks that feel tight or dehydrated.
Dull, congested areas + tired under-eyes
Apply kerafole over the face, avoiding the eye area, and radiance rescue around the eyes. While kerafole works on dullness, rough texture and congestion, radiance rescue gives the under-eye area targeted attention.
How to multi-mask comfortably
Start with clean skin. Apply each mask only where you intend to use it, and follow its directions for wear time and removal. After rinsing, apply your moisturizer.
You don’t need to mask every area or use more than one formula every time. Choose the combination that suits your skin that day; sometimes one mask is all you need.
